About Peter Spranklin
Enthusiasm was a major factor in Peter establishing Spranklin Legal. After being admitted to legal practice in 2006 and with experience dealing with investors and business owners within industries including management rights, motels and hotels; the timing seemed appropriate to continue that attribute after having completed ten years of practice, in a way that he considers best responds to the developing needs of clients.
The offering at Spranklin Legal is to meet the personal and commercial expectations of new and existing operators within the above sectors combined with servicing the general property law requirements of people throughout Queensland and New South Wales.
- Queensland Law Society
- Australian College of Strata Lawyers
- Australian Resident Accommodation Managers Association
Michelle was admitted to Australian legal practice in 2011. Prior to that, she had qualified as an aviation engineer and initially, was able to apply both skillsets by practising overseas as an aviation defence lawyer in cases that included investigating air crashes. Upon returning to Australia to be with family, Michelle identified an opportunity to work within the Queensland management rights industry and has devoted herself to that sector ever since. She has a strong belief in making sure her clients, particularly first time operators, are fully informed about the expectations of the industry both at legal and practical levels. Michelle is bilingual, with Mandarin her second language, and is always willing to meet with clients in person to deliver legal outcomes to matters of a complex nature.
After commencing with our practice at the start of 2021, she was later that year admitted to legal practice having completed a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) and Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice . Morgan works closely with Peter on all transactions and has a particular interest in the leasing of motel and hotel properties. She prides herself on building personal relationships with key stakeholders and new clients and is eager to develop her early career as a commercial property practitioner alongside returning clients.
